DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN SHROPSHIRE
Shropshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer Covering Staffordshire, West Midlands & Beyond
Most of what matters isn’t planned. It just happens.
The build-up before the ceremony.
The quick looks across the room.
The moments you don’t even realise are happening at the time.
That’s what I focus on.
I photograph the day as it unfolds, without constantly stepping in or slowing things down.
Then, when it makes sense, I’ll give you a bit of direction.
Nothing over the top. Just enough to make sure things feel natural and look right, without turning it into something staged.
what to expect
You don’t need to know what to do.
Most couples don’t and a majority aren’t comfortable in front of a camera.
That’s completely normal.
You’re not expected to pose or perform.
I’ll guide you when you need it, and leave you alone when you don’t.
The goal is simple, you enjoy the day, and the photos reflect that.
Things don’t always go to plan.
Timelines run late. Light changes. Weather does its own thing.
That’s all part of it.
I’ve been doing this long enough to know how to deal with it without making it your problem.
Whether it’s bright sun, dark rooms, or a packed dance floor, it’s handled the same way calmly, and without fuss.
From Past Clients
about you
Some moments are best left completely alone.
Others are worth taking a bit of time to get right.
That balance is what gives you a gallery that feels complete.
Not just a record of the day, but something you’ll actually want to come back to.
I am based in Shropshire and regularly photograph weddings across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Whether it is a smaller, relaxed venue or a larger, high energy wedding, the focus stays the same, people, atmosphere, and what is actually happening.
If you are still figuring out where to get married, you can explore some of the best wedding venues in Shropshire here:
The photographer
I stay aware, stay calm, and let the day unfold.
I blend in when needed, step in when it helps, and keep everything straightforward so nothing feels forced or overcomplicated.
Most couples say they barely noticed me at times, but wouldn’t want to imagine the day without me there.
Full-day wedding photography begins at £1,695.
Photography and videography collections begin at £2,995.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year to keep things consistent and personal.
If this feels like the right fit, get in touch and tell me what you’re planning.
