THE COUNTY
NEXT DOOR.
and second home

I’m based in Shropshire but Staffordshire is my second home. Half my weddings are over the border. The light’s different here, the venues are different, the couples are different and that’s exactly why I love it.

I shoot across the whole county Stafford, Lichfield, Stone, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Cannock, Stoke-on-Trent, and the villages in between. Travel within Staffordshire is included in the price. No mileage surprises. No “after a certain postcode we start charging.

THE VENUES I'VE SHOT

Sandon Hall. Thorpe Garden. Coton House Farm. Weston Hall.

Each one’s different and that’s the point.

My philosophy is simple. I want to walk into any venue, any situation, any kind of day and shoot the shit out of it. Stately home, working farm, country house, hotel. Big budget, intimate ceremony, chaotic family, quiet couple. Doesn’t matter. The job is to see what’s in front of me and make something real from it.

That’s why Staffordshire works so well for what I do. The venues here are scattered across the county and wildly different from each other. There’s no “Dana shoots country houses” or “Dana shoots barns.” I shoot weddings. Wherever they happen. Properly.

I’ve also got my eye on The Ashes, Alrewas Hayes, and Foxtail Barn. If you’re booking any of those, let’s talk.

WHY STAFFORDSHIRE WORKS,
for my kind of photography

The mix is the magic. Sandon Hall is a different beast to Coton House Farm. Weston Hall is a different beast to Oak Farm. Each wedding here is its own thing, which is exactly how I want it. Nothing kills documentary work faster than a photographer who shoots every wedding the same way.

The couples who get married in Staffordshire tend to want something honest. Not a Pinterest performance. Their actual day, captured the way it actually happened, with all the laughter, the tears, the unposed moments nobody else would notice.

what couples say

"We saw Dana at a friend's wedding and knew we had to book her. Her energy and skills are unmatched. She got the best shots, even in November."

WHAT BOOKING LOCAL
actually means

You’re not paying for a photographer who’s driven down from Manchester or up from London for the day. You’re booking someone who knows the county, knows the venues, and shoots here regularly.

If your timeline shifts on the day, I know where to go and what the light’s doing. If it pours down, I’ve got a plan. If your venue needs a recce before the day and I haven’t shot there before I’ll go and do one properly. Not a quick drive past. A proper look at the space, the light, where the moments will happen.

That’s what local actually means. Not just a postcode. Genuine knowledge of the area and the venues in it.

Staffordshire Wedding Photographer

Yes, I regularly photograph weddings across Staffordshire at venues including Sandon Hall, Pendrell Hall, Thorpe Garden, Weston Hall and countryside barn venues. I’m very familiar with how these venues flow on a real wedding day.

There’s a good chance I have  but even if I haven’t, that’s never an issue. Strong documentary wedding photography isn’t about memorising a venue it’s about reading light, understanding people and adapting naturally to the environment

My style is relaxed, natural and documentary-led. That means capturing real moments as they happen, with gentle guidance for portraits so you never feel awkward or overly posed.

Yes. I offer both photography and videography across Staffordshire. Booking both together ensures your photos and film feel cohesive and consistent throughout the day.

Most Staffordshire couples book full-day coverage from morning preparations right through to the dance floor. This ensures no key moments are missed and your story is told properly.

Absolutely. I regularly work across Staffordshire as well as Shropshire and the wider West Midlands. Travel within the county is never a problem.

Popular dates especially summer Saturdays can book up 12–24 months in advance. If you’ve secured your venue, it’s worth enquiring as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
