Choosing your wedding photographer is not just about how the photos look.
It is about how the entire day feels.
You are inviting someone into some of the most emotional, personal moments of your life. You deserve to feel completely comfortable, completely supported, and completely confident in that decision.
My wedding photography experience is designed to give you exactly that.
Relaxed. Calm. Professional. Natural.
No awkward posing.
No forced smiles.
No shouting instructions across the room.
Just honest moments captured beautifully while you actually enjoy your wedding day.

Your wedding is not a styled shoot.
It is real. Emotional. Fast moving. Full of personality.
My approach is documentary led, which means I observe first and direct gently when needed. I read the room. I sense when nerves need calming. I know when to step forward and when to step back.
You will never feel like you are performing.
You will never feel abandoned either.
That balance is what creates photographs that feel effortless and timeless.

It’s WEDDING Day!
On your wedding day, I am there from the real morning moments right through to the dance floor energy.
I capture:
The anticipation during preparations
The emotion of the ceremony
The confetti chaos
Relaxed couple portraits
The speeches
The party when it truly kicks off
I keep things flowing without making it feel rushed.
I stay calm if timelines shift.
I adapt to British weather without drama.
Most importantly, I make sure you feel like yourselves.
Your final gallery is delivered within 12 weeks, carefully edited in my true to colour style so your images feel timeless rather than trend driven.

Artfully Capturing Your Moments
I have been photographing weddings since 2012.
I have worked throughout the UK and abroad in manor houses, barns, outdoor ceremonies, dark prep rooms, bright glass venues, and everything in between.
Experience matters.
You need someone who understands lighting changes, tight timelines, family dynamics, and unexpected moments.
You need someone who brings energy when it is needed and quiet confidence when it matters most.
You will feel supported, not managed.
You will feel celebrated, not staged.
That is the wedding photography experience I offer.
A documentary approach does not mean hands off.
It means intentional.
It means knowing when to guide you into beautiful light and when to step back during an emotional moment.
It means understanding how to capture laughter without interrupting it.
It means creating images that feel natural, warm, and full of life.
Your photographs will not feel generic.
They will feel like you.

Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. I limit the number of weddings I take on each year to ensure every couple receives my full attention, so earlier is always better.
I intentionally limit my diary to 25 weddings a year so I can give every wedding the energy, focus and editing time it deserves. Quality always comes before quantity.
Not at all. The majority of my couples say they are not natural in front of the camera. My approach is relaxed and documentary led, so you will not be posing all day. I guide gently when needed and focus on capturing real interaction rather than forced smiles.

Yes. I regularly help couples build photography timelines that feel calm and realistic. A well structured timeline makes a huge difference to how relaxed your day feels and how natural your photos look.
British weather is unpredictable, so I always plan for flexibility. With over a decade of experience, I know how to adapt quickly, use available light effectively and keep things calm regardless of the forecast.
There is a strong chance I have photographed there, especially across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands. However, even if it is a new venue to me, experience means I can quickly assess light, space and logistics to ensure nothing feels unfamiliar on the day.
Yes. I offer full day photography as well as combined photography and videography coverage. Many couples choose both so they can relive not only how the day looked, but how it sounded and moved too.
It is the balance. You get the relaxed, natural storytelling of a documentary approach combined with calm professional control behind the scenes. You feel supported without feeling directed all day. That is what allows you to enjoy your wedding while trusting it is being captured beautifully.
But Enough About me!
Your wedding is not about ticking boxes.
It is about celebrating your story in a way that feels true to you.
Tell me about your venue.
Tell me about the vibe.
Tell me about the people who matter most.
Let’s create something that reflects your personalities, not a Pinterest trend.
