Kim and Sam’s wedding at Manor Hill House was truly a dream come true. As one of my favourite venues, Manor Hill House offers the perfect setting for capturing unforgettable moments, and their special day was no exception. With flawless weather setting the stage for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, the love and joy in the air were absolutely contagious, take a look at their wedding photos to live their day with them. Joyful Moments at Manor Hill House

From the first moment, the day was alive with laughter, banter, and endless smiles. As a wedding photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than finding a couple who shares your enthusiasm and energy. With Kim, I found a kindred spirit—her fun-loving and lively personality made every moment a joy to capture. Manor Hill House provided the ideal backdrop for these special moments, ensuring that every photograph reflected the genuine emotions of the day.

The Power of Wedding Photography: Authentic Storytelling

Wedding photography is about much more than just taking pictures. It’s about capturing the raw emotions, the candid interactions, and the love that fills the atmosphere. My goal is to tell a couple’s story through their wedding photos, preserving the essence of their day in a way that allows them to relive those memories for years to come.

Kim and Sam’s wedding was a perfect example of this storytelling approach. The stunning Manor Hill House surroundings enhanced every shot, making their wedding photos not just images, but a visual narrative of their love and connection.

Reflecting on a Perfect Day

As I look back at the wedding photos from Kim and Sam’s special day, I’m reminded of why I love what I do. Capturing love in its purest form is a true blessing, and being able to do this at a venue as breath-taking as Manor Hill House adds an extra layer of magic.

  • The wedding day is over… You’re painstakingly waiting the photos back from your photographer… you cannot wait! What’s my process? Well I can’t speak for any other photographer but I want to make sure your photos are looking amazing! Every wedding, I upload your photos, go through them get rid of duplicates or ones where people are picking their noses, and doing all other kinds of things and edit the ones I consider the best. I then look at them and edit them. I take out anything I think shouldn’t be there, adjust the brightness and colours, clean them up and most of the time straighten them 😂 This video I a really quick version of a photo that took me about 10mins to edit… I wish my photos were as quick to edit as this video!   • Hate the idea of stiff, uncomfortable poses? These tips will help you look and feel amazing! ✨ First of all speak with your photographer and express your concerns. Let them know if you're worried about looking stiff or uncomfortable. A good photographer will listen and adjust their approach, suggesting poses that make you feel more relaxed and natural for you. Open communication with your photographer is key to feeling at ease in front of the camera. ✨ Choose a photographer that is skilled in natural posing. Someone who specializes in natural, candid shots. Look for someone whose portfolio show people looking relaxed and happy, not stiff or overly posed. This skill is a sign that they know how to guide you into comfortable positions that don't feel forced, making you look your best. ✨ And finally, some quick tips for feeling more comfortable: Focus on your partner or a loved one during shots to forget the camera, move naturally - whether walking or laughing - and don't be afraid to ask for direction. Well my first destination wedding went down a storm! What an experience! I’ve been shooting weddings for over a decade now and have been blessed to have captured so many incredible weddings. But, to be able to take my beautiful boy on his first holiday abroad whilst working and have everyone wrapped around his fingers just made the whole experience even better. Oscar was in his element, living his best life and what can I say I’ve got the bug for destination weddings now 😂 It was hard work, the heat alone made it 10x harder than any wedding I’ve ever had to shoot before and the fact I did photography and video in my own again made me question my sanity 😂 Running all around a massive venue, new traditions, different says of working made it even more enjoyable. Thank god the bride and groom were incredible and allowed me to wear shorts, t-shirt and trainers… I seriously feel like I would have died of heat stroke if I didn’t 😂 Here are a few snaps from our last night there, how could I take all my camera gear and not get a few of us before we left.
