If you’re looking for a Shropshire wedding photographer who captures real moments without awkward posing, you’re in the right place.
I’m Dana, a documentary wedding photographer and videographer based in Telford, photographing relaxed, fun-loving couples across Shropshire.
My approach is all about letting you enjoy your wedding day while I quietly capture the laughter, emotion, and in-between moments exactly as they happen.
Shropshire is the perfect place for laid-back weddings from countryside barns and historic venues to outdoor celebrations surrounded by rolling hills. My documentary approach fits naturally into these kinds of days, allowing everything to unfold without interruption.
Rather than staging moments or pulling you away from your guests, I focus on telling the story of your wedding as it genuinely happens. The result is wedding photos and films that feel honest, emotional, and full of life, not forced or over-produced.
If you want to remember how your wedding felt, not just how it looked, documentary wedding photography is the perfect fit.
I’m down-to-earth, friendly, and very much there to support you throughout your day. Most couples tell me they’re a bit camera-shy, but quickly forget the camera is even there once things get going.
I blend in like a guest, keep things calm when timings get tight, and bring a positive, upbeat energy especially when nerves kick in. Whether it’s helping you feel comfortable during portraits or capturing the chaos on the dance floor, my aim is always the same: to let you enjoy your wedding day without feeling watched or posed.
Alongside photography, I also offer wedding videography in Shropshire, captured in the same relaxed, documentary style. Having both photography and videography covered together keeps everything seamless and unobtrusive, no big crews, no interruptions, and no awkward moments created just for the camera.
Your photos and film work together to tell the full story of your day, from the quiet moments in the morning to the emotional highlights and celebrations later on.

I can’t wait to be part of your day and capture all those genuine, joyful moments you’ll treasure forever.
Yes, I cover the whole of Shropshire, including Telford, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Bridgnorth, and surrounding areas.
Absolutely! While I’m based in Telford, I photograph weddings throughout the UK. Travel expenses are covered by you for destination weddings.
Yes. I offer both services in a natural, unobtrusive style so everything works seamlessly together.
Not at all. Most of my couples feel the same way. My documentary approach means very little posing and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the day.
Most couples book anywhere from 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. That said, I do sometimes have availability closer to the date, so it’s always worth getting in touch as soon as you have your venue and date confirmed.
Yes, absolutely. While my approach is documentary and relaxed, I’ll always guide you through group photos so they’re quick, stress-free, and don’t take you away from your day for too long. For couple portraits, I’ll give gentle direction and keep things natural so nothing feels awkward or overly posed.
Rain never ruins a wedding and honestly, it can make for some of the most atmospheric photos. I’m always prepared to adapt, find the best light, and work with whatever the day brings. Some of my favourite Shropshire wedding photos have been taken in unexpected weather.
My style is documentary, natural, and relaxed. I focus on real moments, genuine emotion, and the energy of the day rather than staged shots. The goal is for your photos and film to feel timeless, honest, and full of personality just like your wedding.
