Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a bit about myself so you can get to know the person behind the lens, potentially the one you’re thinking of choosing as your wedding photographer or videographer.
I won’t pretend; writing about myself is something I genuinely dislike. Nevertheless, I believe it’s crucial for you to understand who you’re entrusting with the memories of your special day!
So, by now you know i’m Dana Lewis, I live in Telford with my husband Craig and our wonderful son Oscar.
Oscar was born with Down Syndrome, he is the absolute joy of my life and my entire world. He is the bravest, strongest, most loving, and remarkable little boy, and I am truly honoured to be his mother.
Every day is an adventure with Oscar, and we constantly discover new and exciting things together.
I’m an extremely happy and positive person who enjoys laughter and playful banter. People often describe me as “Nuts, Nutjob, Bonkers, Crazy, Funny, Off my head, Mental, and out of the ordinary.”
To be honest, I’m not sure whether to take that as an insult or a compliment, haha.
I steer clear of stress, negativity, or anything sad, i know this sounds odd, but I’ve chosen to live a happy, stress-free life, and it suits me well.
Photographing weddings is perfect for me as it allows me to meet new people and socialize. I guess you could say I’m the epitome of a social butterfly.
I began photographing weddings over a decade ago, and during that period, I’ve served some amazing couples, many of whom I now count as friends.
At every wedding, I’m often the most excited person there. I enjoy interacting and being part of the day’s events and winding up the groom and his groomsmen during their preparation shots, sharing laughs with arriving guests, and relaxing with the bride and her party.
Weddings can be tense, and my goal is for everyone to feel as relaxed and joyful as possible, ensuring a memorable celebration for all.
Celebrating with my couples is something I adore, and you won’t find me shying away from a lively party—I’ll be right there on the dance floor having a blast with you by day’s end.
Just a heads-up, I come equipped with two left feet and some rather unattractive shoes, so don’t expect any dance miracles!
In my view, if I can depart from each wedding with everyone buzzing about the fantastic time they’ve had, then I’m confident I’ve fulfilled my role and can sleep easy.
I feel incredibly blessed, honoured, and privileged to have this as my profession. They say if you love what you do, it’s not really work, and I absolutely LOVE IT!
Furthermore, i never take any of it for granted. I earnestly desire the best for every couple who entrusts me to capture their wedding day.
My goal is to deliver the best experience possible and provide them with photographs that they can cherish and adore.
